Currently Watching
Queen - Live at Wembley Stadium
By Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May (II), Roger Taylor, Spike Edney

Hello Xanga, I'm Wes.

Our soccer team, undefeated at home, terrible on the road, couldn't pull out of the first round of the tournament. A sad way to end the season. But on the bright side, no trip to Illinois this weekend leaves me here in Springfield to watch the hockey game vs. Mizzou. It was Penalties: the Game. There was an almost fight. Not enough to satisfy me but enough to get a couple of guys thrown out.  We lost 3-4. Tomorrow night will be better; I know it.

Rachel, my little sister, was in the junior high homecoming court, so I drove down earlier today to see her. It is so weird that my little sister is so big. I also voted while I was home. So in all I drove 3 hours for about 45 min. I didn't even go to my house.

I'm working the desk at the moment because a girl needed to go to some meeting, and I don't really have much to do right now. Watching Queen, Live at Wembley. I love Queen; I don't care what you say. Freddie Mercury has the perfect rock & roll voice, perfect.

Okay, enough of nothing. Maybe something meaningful later. I love you all, friends.

Next Summer

Rated PG-13 for mild language, drug and sexual references, animated violence

I've stuck a pact with a good friend of mine to have the "craziest bad-ass summer ever" next summer. I'm not really sure what it will entail. It might last a couple of days, weeks, or months. We've already tossed around backpacking in South America as a choice. I thought cocaine, heroin, and Thai hookers would fit the bill, but I think we struck that pretty fast.

Seriously though, if you know of anything awesome that two really awesome guys with nothing holding us back could do for a summer, let me know. We are both up for anything at all.

I've been excessively busy this week, but busy with good things. Until today, this week has been absolutely gorgeous. I realized that the days after a good rain are the most beautiful. When that sun comes, it's going to be wonderful.

I started selling my body for money this week, and I'm happy to say that I'm $70 to the good. In the words of Jake Taylor, "Money grows in my veins."  Plasma selling is good for me and good for research. We all win.

I'd write more, but time is short, my friends. I love you and wish I could see you all more often than I do.

Yesterday was amazing. Prettiest day in my recent memory.  I had to work 8-noon (like right now), but Stephanie came in an hour early so I could go play golf. I did okay considering it was only my second time. When I was done with that and a milkshake, I played soccer for more than 2 hours. Ben and Charity were in town so I ate with them. After that, I just did nothing in the hall with the guys. It was a pretty spectacular day.

Today deserves to be rainy. One month. Remember me in your prayers.

Okay. So maybe the protected posts thing won't really work. I can't add everyone to the protected posts thingy. I didn't know that. So how about this:

If I don't like you, don't come back to my page. That being said, let me clarify by saying that I probably like you. There is really only one person I don't want coming to my page. He knows who he is.
I'm sorry that everyone has to see me act like a buttface, but I'm trying my best here to be good. Honestly, I'm a lover, not a hater.
So, yep. My posts are public again.

Give to the wind your fears
Hope and be undismayed
God hears your sighs and counts your tears
He will lift up, He will lift up
Lift up your head
